Even if a picture is posted on Twitter (and possibly re-tweeted by others), it CANNOT be used for commercial means. A ruling on technology use I can FINALLY agree with.

Obit: Aaron Swartz, Coder and Activist (Wired)

Sad: Computer activist Aaron Swartz committed suicide

He was indicted for mass-downloading documents from JSTOR, a massive online journal of academic papers. He fought against the system of hiding intellectual knowledge behind a paywall, despite the research being paid for with public monies.

He also happens to have created the RSS 1.0 specification and was an early co-owner of Reddit, a popular online community news site. He truly stood for letting the world be smarter than it was...and left it dumber without his presence in it.
